Silvia Josephine Žele

I am an Australian qualified secondary school teacher born to Slovenian parents. In 2005 I moved to Slovenia and, as a Sole Proprietor, now work here teaching, translating, proofreading and conducting genealogical research.

I was awarded my Bachelor of Education: Secondary on 2 June 1984 from Victoria College, Melbourne. In Australia I taught students aged from 11 to 18. In 1995, under a scheme organised by the Victorian Education Department, I began a Graduate Diploma Humanities and Social Sciences: Italian course at La Trobe University which was completed on 21 Sept 2001. In 2003 I passed Slovenian at Victorian Certificate of Education level (Final year of high school, Year 12)

In the field of education I have a wealth of experience as I taught for 21 years at 4 different schools in Australia. I taught English, geography, history and computer applications.

In Slovenia I have taught many individuals and groups, and am able to tailor courses to best meet the needs of my students.
